A separate decision before sharing publicly
Your story.
Your permission.
A first note opens a conversation. It does not sign away your story or authorize public use.
Begin privately
Scott will review the short note and may contact you about a written account, a recording, or a conversation. You choose whether to continue. Please share your own experience and avoid identifying other people in the initial note.
Review the actual story
If a story is considered for public use, you will be able to review the proposed text or selected media, including edits and identifying details, before deciding whether to approve it.
Agree on specific uses
A separate written permission process must identify the material, the person or business receiving permission, the approved identity choice, and the channels where it may be used. A transcript and an original voice or video recording require distinct choices. No publication permission is collected on this website.
Choose how you are identified
Options can include a public name, first name, a pseudonym, or no public name. These choices must be discussed in context: a face, voice, location, or distinctive event may identify someone even without a name.
Keep the decision voluntary
You can ask questions or decline. Nothing is automatically published from an interest form, and no pre-order request is a story release.
