Privacy and care
Scott Michael receives and handles the contact and book requests submitted through this website. Questions, corrections, and requests to delete a note can be sent to scottfreellctx@gmail.com.
What the forms collect
A pre-order request includes your name, email, selected books, format preference, any optional note, and your permission to be contacted about those books. It does not collect payment or shipping information.
A story-interest note includes your first name, email, a short summary, preferred way of sharing, and confirmation that you are at least 18 and agree to be contacted. Please leave out other people's names, children's identifying details, sensitive records, financial information, and private messages.
How your note is delivered
The forms prepare an email draft using the details you enter. This website does not send or store those entries. You choose whether to open Gmail or your own email app, review the message, and send it to Scott. Your email provider processes the message when you use its service. You can also contact Scott by email without using the form.
The email provider and website host process information needed to deliver and operate their services. This website does not add advertising trackers, a public submissions feed, or automatic publishing of your note.
What your details are used for
Book requests are used to respond about the books you selected. Story notes are used to review your interest and discuss a possible next step. Your details are not posted on this website or automatically added to an unrelated marketing list.
Messages may remain in the email inbox and its backups while a request or conversation is being handled. You can ask for correction or deletion by emailing Scott. Service-provider copies and backups follow those providers' handling processes.
Contact is separate from publication
A submitted note grants no permission to publish a story, identify a contributor, or use a face or voice. Before any public use, the selected material, edits, identity choice, and permitted channels must be agreed separately. A changed name alone cannot guarantee anonymity.
Full stories and audio or video files are not uploaded through these forms. A suitable private process can be discussed after the first contact.
Your choices
Sending a request is voluntary. You can use direct email instead, skip optional fields, decline a later invitation, or ask Scott to stop contacting you. The story-interest form is for adults aged 18 and older.
